Mountains of Western Norway. Løyningsdalen
Driving along Arnafjord with a stop at the langfoss waterfall, our path lies in the mountains of Western Norway.
At an altitude of about 600 meters, the valley of Løyningsdalen lies between mountain ranges.
More than one relatively flat area does not remain unnoticed in Norway-farms can be found even in the highlands.
Leiningdal borders the Hardangervidda national Park to the North.
Hardangervidda is the largest landscape Park in Norway, with an area of 3,422 square kilometers. This is a great place for those who like to travel in the wild - there are many Hiking and Cycling routes in the Park. For rest and overnight on the Hiking trails equipped with huts.
There is also something to do here for those who like rock climbing, mountain and cross-country skiing, as well as fishing.
Presumably, these trunks symbolize pagan Viking stelae.
The valley has a huge number of boarding houses for winter sports enthusiasts, now it is, of course, the off-season.
