Evening Sogndal. Morning in the Sognefjord

We stopped for the night in a small town on the banks of the Sognefjord. It was getting late, and there wasn't much hope of buying anything for dinner. However, the hotel staff told me that there was a Department store still open nearby, and I went there through the empty streets.

This settlement has only about 7 thousand inhabitants, and yet, the eponymous football club is part of the top League of Norway.

My way took me through the town's Central square. Here, too, there are no souls, only squirrels jumping merrily on the lawns and trees

What about the reindeer? I have not seen a single city in Norway where this unchanging symbol of the Northern country is not present.

Autorities are not uncommon in Norway, as they are in Sweden. The descendants of Vikings love technical antiquity and carefully preserve it. All the retrocars I encountered were not Museum pieces at all, but ordinary everyday machines.

The next day, early in the morning, we leave Sogndal and follow the coastSognefjord we go to the ferry crossing.

But here we are not waiting for the usual ferry, but a small boat, on which we will make a small water trip along one of the arms of the Sognefjord, which bears the name of Fjorlandfjorden.  The Sognefjord
